A syringe is used to deliver or aspire liquid or gel formulation in a controlled manner using a plunger. The force (expression or aspiration) required to activate the plunger depends on various factors such as the syringe shape, dimensions, the viscosity of the formulation and the speed. A mechanical tester can be used to activate the plunger while recording the required level of force to activate it in function of the properties of the liquid or gel inside.
