Programmed death-1 (PD-1)是在T細(xì)胞上表達(dá)的抑制性受體，它能促進(jìn)炎性T細(xì)胞的凋亡并抑制抗炎調(diào)節(jié)性T細(xì)胞的凋亡，從而提高自身耐受性并預(yù)防自身免疫性疾病。為了逃避免疫監(jiān)視，腫瘤細(xì)胞經(jīng)常通過過度表達(dá)PD-L1來利用這一系統(tǒng)，PD-L1是一種結(jié)合并激活PD-1的配體。抗PD-1單克隆抗體用于阻斷PD-L1與PD-1的結(jié)合，從而使免疫系統(tǒng)能夠發(fā)現(xiàn)并殺死腫瘤細(xì)胞。
